# Acknowledgements

AdoptIQ is built on the work of the open-source community. This page lists the third-party open-source components included in the Service and credits their authors, as their licenses ask us to.

## What's included, and why

The components fall into two groups:

- **Bundled into the apps you use in the browser** — the adoptiq.io site and the admin portal compile open-source JavaScript into the pages served to you. Because that code is delivered to your device, we reproduce its license notices in full in the notices file above.

- **Running on our servers** — the backend and AI services use further open-source components that are never delivered to you. We credit them too, in the same file, for transparency.

## Licenses in use

The overwhelming majority of components are under permissive licenses that only ask us to preserve their copyright and license text — which we do in the notices file.

**No GPL- or AGPL-licensed components are used** in any part of the Service, so there are no source-code-disclosure obligations.
